Europa Events - Court in the Square is an atrium located at 401 2nd Avenue South, Suite 103, in Seattle, WA. The atrium is part of a historic building complex originally designed by the architectural firm Saunders and Lawton and completed in 1907 for the Crane Company, a plumbing supply company. The building, known initially as the Crane Building and later the Goldsmith Building, is situated in an area that experienced significant growth following the Great Fire of 1889.
The atrium itself serves as a central feature of Court in the Square, providing a unique and elegant space often used for events and gatherings. This historic setting is enhanced by its architectural heritage and proximity to other significant structures and the Great Northern Railroad line, which contributed to the industrial and economic development of Seattle in the early 20th century. The atrium reflects the blend of historic charm and modern utility, making it a notable location in Seattle’s Pioneer Square area.
